Hello!

I love teaching at my Alma Mater, having graduated from MHS in 1993.

I married my high school sweetheart and we have two beautiful daughters who attended Mansfield schools from kindergarten to High School. Nara graduated MHS in 2013. She got married to Dennis Ward in 2015 and graduated college in 2017! She and Dennis have a son named Knox and are expecting a baby girl this August! I love being a Mimzy! Corrina graduated MHS in 2018 and and graduated with a Business degree at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway in 2022. She is married to Tyler Van Brunt and they have a mini Aussie named Dodger. 

I received my Bachelor of Science in English with Teacher Licensure from the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith and my Masters in TESOL from AR Tech.

I taught Senior English at Northside High School in Fort Smith before returning to teach at Mansfield.  I've enjoyed teaching several levels of my favorite subject. Currently I teach 7^th and 8^th grade English at MMS; I am the secondary Reading Interventionist and ESL teacher; and I am the Co-director of TAG, our after school program.

Out of school I enjoy spending quality time with my family, crafting, gardening, and of course, READING!

What most people find interesting about me is that I am a vegetarian!
