Posted Date: 09/24/2018

Today’s Bank Mansfield Invitational is set to include several teams and hundreds of athletes for cross country action on Saturday, September 29. Primed to be along the campus of Mansfield High School, the four race schedule is to begin at 9:00 AM.

An early peek at the meet registration web site shows 16 schools and 361 athletes have already signed up to participate in the Tiger hosted event. Those numbers are expected to climb as registration deadline approaches.

According to the ar.milesplit.com web site, this will be the 15th annual cross country meet hosted by Mansfield. This 2018 version is the first to be exclusively sponsored by Today’s Bank.

Championship plaques will be handed out to both “big school” and “small school” teams. Top 5 overall medals and top 10 classification medals will be handed out to runners in each of the four races.

The senior high women will begin festivities. A rolling schedule will continue with senior men, junior girls, and junior boys.
